Ecommerce Europe statsitics on Latvia

Ecommerce Europe published statistics on year 2013, according to it:
15% of population, or 300 thousand people are e-shoppers
188 millions of EURO were spent on-line
Overall market growth was +25% to last year.
Average customer spent 500 Euro on-line.

The reasons for shopping online in Latvia (according to Ecommerce Europe) are: lower prices, saving time, the possibility to order at any
time and the availability of home delivery. At the same time main barriers to online shopping are long delivery times, incorrect information about the product and poor customer service.
